Energy Data Service – A portal for open energy data
The 17th of July, the Danish Minister for Energy, Utilities and Climate, Lars Chr. Lilleholt, opned Energinet’s new portal for energydata: Energy Data Service. The portal contains CO2 signals, data from the electricity market, as well as consumption and production data. But this is only the beginning; from now on Energinet will regularly release more datasets.
”For the data to really benefit society, it is not enough that it can be downloaded manually. It must be made available in a form that allows it to be automatically included in products and services. In that way, our energy consumption can be smarter and more advanced in the future electricity system”.
– Peder Ø. Andreasen, President and CEO of Energinet.
